JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu Adds a New Amenity – Ev Charging Station for Green Travellers, Launches a Digital Campaign “Charge for Change”

Mumbai, September, 2022 – JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, the 5-star luxury hotel in Mumbai is pleased to introduce an all-new amenity for their guests – the EV charging station. The hotel has been committed to be a leader in offering guest experiences that exceeds expectations and setting the standard for global sustainability targets within the industry. The property is dedicated to finding and integrating leading environmental and social practices across their hotel operations. In partnering with a like-minded organizations, the hotel aims to enhance and strengthen their commitment towards sustainability, benefitting their business and the communities they serve.

The EV charging station at the hotel has been installed in collaboration with Charge Zone and the chargers are compatible with all on-sale four-wheeler EVs in India. The EV charging facility i.e. Charge Zone’s 60kW DC CCS2 fast charger can charge two electric cars simultaneously.

From design to the guest experience, sustainability is embedded into the hotels business strategy. The hotel collaborates with their associates, suppliers, business partners and guests to actively reduce the environmental impact. While integrating sustainability across their hotel operations and mitigating climate-related risk, the property is working to reduce their environmental impact, build and operate sustainably and source responsibly.
