H2- On Thursday, Relevel announced a job hiring platform allocated $20 million from its parent edtech company Unacademy.

Relevel was propelled just four months ago by ShashankMurali, SakshamKeshri, and Prakash Kumar; on the back of significant adhesion witnessed in user growth, hiring company partnerships, and placement rate, the company announced in a statement. Currently, the platform has over 2.35 lakh users and declares to have a 100 percent placement rate of users who have passed the tests.

Relevel declared that it has 64 active companies across sectors that have interviewed candidates based on the tests on its panel. Most users who have obtained employment through Relevel come from Tier 2 and 3 cities in India. Bengaluru-based edtech platform Unacademy was founded by Munjal, Saini, Hemesh Singh, and Sachin Gupta in 2016. Last month Unacademy clinched a Series H round of $440 million at a valuation of $3.44 billion. Unacademy, at present, has over 50,000 registered educators and more than 62 million learners. The startup grants learnings in 14 languages across 5,000 cities. Currently, Relevel conducts three tests: Frontend Development, Backend Development, and Business Development — all directed within the span of one day.
