On Monday, edtech firm upGrad unveiled courses that would be included in some curricula and teach the basics of the popular chatbot ChatGPT.

This will take the form of live seminars that will explore the architecture and features of ChatGPT while delving into the specifics of the model. Additionally, the company said in a statement that it seeks to give professionals the skills they need to effectively use its ChatGPT platform.

The firm also said that as part of the GPT integration process, it would introduce an AI-powered chatbot that will engage with learners of all skill levels to identify their skill requirements and, in response, provide recommendations and customised performance feedback.

"Understanding AI-powered tools have become critical to career growth. It’s important to first educate our learners about the complexities of the tool which also comes with opportunities, and if understood well, can support the global workforce in delivering exponential business solutions. We are committed towards workforce development and hence, a strong AI-enabled portfolio and experiential learning shall train our learners to tackle any business problems even on day 1 at their jobs,” said Mayank Kumar, Co-founder & MD, upGrad.
