Without ever leaving the app, WhatsApp users may post their status updates as Facebook stories. The messaging app is reportedly developing a new feature that would enable users to broadcast their WhatsApp Status on Instagram Stories, according to a report from WABetaInfo. The most recent Android 2.23.25.20 beta version of WhatsApp, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, has this capability.

It was also disclosed in the study that the Status Privacy category will have access to this capability. To access Status Privacy, simply navigate to the Updates (iOS) or Status (Android) page, tap the three horizontal dots located in the upper right corner, and select Status. If you would like your WhatsApp Status to be shared on Instagram automatically, set up your account by selecting the "Instagram" option and following the on-screen instructions. Users won't have to waste time uploading the same Status to many apps independently thanks to this capability. According to the source, the functionality is currently being developed and will be available in future Android user upgrades.

Furthermore, according to a different WABetaInfo story, the platform owned by Meta is probably going to let you look for users on the app by utilising their usernames. As a result, users will be able to communicate with users through the app without giving out their phone number. To start a conversation with the concerned user, just enter their username in the search bar. In the event that individuals decide not to disclose too much information, this will enable them to remain anonymous on the network.

Interestingly, everyone can modify their username whenever they'd like. This feature is reportedly being developed but will soon be available to iOS and Android users.

WhatsApp users can now access a secret code function, which was recently added to improve user privacy. With this feature, users can increase security by adding a unique password to specific closed chats. These conversations won't show up on the app until you type their password into the search bar.
