Amid the mounting problems of the edtech business, Simplilearn acquired the US-based Fullstack Academy.
The US-based bootcamp education startup Fullstack Academy has been bought by online skilling and training platform Simplilearn in an all-cash deal, even if the bigger edtech sector is still bleeding as the pandemic-driven digital boom slows down. After purchasing the Silicon Valley-based digital marketing training company Market Motive in 2015, the transaction represents the business’s second acquisition. All Fullstack Academy employees will continue in their current positions after the merger, raising the total number of employees at Simplilearn to over 2,500.
